BLACK POMFRET is a brown-grey, diamond shaped fish resembling the unrelated Pomfrets of South East Asia, which despite the name, belong to a different family. Wild caught, this free swimming surface dwelling fish usually found in the shallow waters off northern Australia, and caught mainly as by-catch of coastal net-fisheries.

FISH MEAL

FISHE MEAL, or fishmeal is a commercial product made from fish and the bones and offal from processed fish. it is a brown powder or cake obtained by drying the fish or fish trimmings, often after cooking, and then grinding it. If it is a fatty fish it is also pressed to extract most of the fish oil.

Available in single variety fish, fresh or salt water. Various protein levels available with product specification information available on request.

Fish by-products are sourced either from fresh water species such as Pangasius, from assorted salt water fish, from tuna and other species as requested.
